Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Tadreeb ("Tadreeb", "we", "us", "our") and govern your use of the Tadreeb mobile application and the website tadreeb.app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age that applies in your country) to use the Service. If you are a minor, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
One account per person. You may not transfer, sell or share your account.
Notify us promptly at contact@tadreeb.app if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

2. Licence to use the Service

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial, educational use, in accordance with these Terms. All software, design, questions, learning content, graphics, logos and other materials in the Service are owned by or licensed to Tadreeb and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, scrape, or create derivative works from any part of the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

cheat, exploit bugs, automate gameplay, manipulate scores, timers or device clocks, or otherwise interfere with fair play;
reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code, question database or any non-public part of the Service;
access the Service through unofficial clients, bots or scripts, or probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems without written permission;
choose usernames or share content that is unlawful, offensive, hateful, misleading or that infringes someone else's rights;
harass or abuse other players, or disrupt multiplayer games and competitions;
use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

Fair play enforcement. We use automated server-side validation to verify game results. We may adjust, void or reset scores, points, streaks, leaderboard positions, badges or other progress that we reasonably believe resulted from cheating, abuse, bugs or technical error — without prior notice and without compensation.

4. Points, badges and virtual items

Points, power-ups, badges, streaks, ranks and other virtual items are game features with no monetary value. They cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged or redeemed for money. We may modify, rebalance, reset or remove virtual items at any time as part of operating and improving the game. Virtual items are forfeited when your account is deleted or terminated.

5. Free tier and Premium

The free tier includes limits (such as a maximum number of games per period and a limited number of learning-path levels). We may change these limits at any time.
Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription (or one-time lifetime purchase) that unlocks additional features as described in the app at the moment of purchase.
Billing is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings — deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are governed by the refund policies of Apple and Google; we cannot issue refunds for purchases made through their stores.
Prices may change; changes apply to subsequent billing periods after notice through the store mechanisms.
Premium features depend on the Service being available and may evolve over time (features may be added, changed or replaced by equivalents).

6. Educational content disclaimer

Tadreeb is an educational quiz app — it is not a source of religious rulings. Questions, answers and explanations are prepared with care, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete, current or free of error, and differences of scholarly opinion exist on many topics. Nothing in the Service constitutes a fatwa or religious, legal or other professional advice. For religious guidance, consult qualified scholars. If you spot a mistake, please report it in the app — we appreciate it and review all reports.

7. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available and improving, but we provide it without any uptime guarantee. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service or any feature, in whole or in part, at any time — including game modes, content, free-tier limits and offline functionality. Where reasonably possible we will give advance notice of material changes that negatively affect paid features.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app's settings.
We may suspend or terminate your account, or restrict features, if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or where we are required to do so by law. Where the violation is minor and remediable we will normally warn you first, but we reserve the right to act immediately for serious violations (such as cheating or abuse).
Upon termination your licence ends and your virtual items lapse. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 9–12) survive termination.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE OR THAT DATA (INCLUDING PROGRESS AND SCORES) WILL NEVER BE LOST. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TADREEB AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROGRESS, PROFITS, GOODWILL OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE SAME EXTENT, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) TEN US DOLLARS ($10).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (such as liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence), nor does it affect statutory consumer rights that mandatorily apply to you.

11. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Tadreeb harmless from claims, damages and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to a different venue. We encourage you to contact us first at contact@tadreeb.app — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the current version. For material changes we will provide notice in the app or by email before the change takes effect. If you continue using the Service after a change, the updated Terms apply. If you do not agree with a change, stop using the Service and delete your account.

14. Miscellaneous

Severability — if any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the invalid provision is replaced by a valid one that best matches its intent.
No waiver — our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
Assignment — you may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
Entire agreement — these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Tadreeb regarding the Service.
App store terms — your use of the app must also comply with the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to provide support for the Service.
